Chelsea (she/her) is a registered social worker and has a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia. She has over 15 years of clinical experience offering counselling in community mental health and hospital settings. Chelsea helps people feel more like themselves again by working collaboratively to lessen the influence of the problems or symptoms they bring to therapy.
Chelsea is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, primarily drawing on Narrative Therapy, attachment theory, and Somatic Experiencing®. Her areas of clinical interest include: disordered eating and body image concerns, developmental trauma, depression, anxiety, women’s health, chronic health issues (ie. chronic pain, fibromyalgia, ALS, MS, ME/CFS), anger, self-harm, coping with stress, grief and loss, trauma/PTSD.
Chelsea is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
