Crystal Skjerven is a compassionate and experienced registered clinical social worker with over 18 years of experience in the counselling field. Crystal’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work Degree. She is also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through Wilfred Laurier University. Crystal utilizes a holistic and client-centered approach, integrating various evidence-based techniques to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Crystal believes in the power of a collaborative therapeutic relationship. She primarily employes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Crystal strives to empower clients with the skills and insights needed to overcome their challenges and achieve personal growth.
