Julie (she/her) has worked in the counselling field for close to 30 years. She has a Master’s in Marriage, Family and Child counselling. While she has worked in the nonprofit sector for much of her career with organizations like KidsFirst and Family Service Saskatoon, she has spent the last 5 years at Penney Murphy and Associates. Julie uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to support clients in addressing their concerns and utilizing the modalities that match the client need. Julie values a strengths based and client centred approach. It is important that clients are provided a safe and judgment free space to explore the issues that bring them to seek support. She focuses on the strengths that clients already possess while partnering with the client to achieve personal reflection and growth. Julie works with individuals, couples (including same sex couples), parents, families, youth and children.

When booking a session for your child, please note that Julie requires that the first session be parents/caregivers only. This session will focus on gathering background information, understanding your concerns and making a plan to introduce your child into the session.
