Kim is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Kim holds an undergraduate honours degree from the University of Saskatchewan majoring in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University. Kim provides counselling to individuals, couples, and families. Kim has worked, in many capacities, with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice; and as an Associate Counsellor with Bridge Counselling in Saskatoon. With over 15 years of experience offering group counselling and individual support to those impacted by addictions, domestic violence, trauma, grief, and anger Kim looks forward to working within the Saskatoon community.
Kim approaches each session from a holistic viewpoint, focusing on the entire person and their life experiences. Kim believes because each person is different, it is important to use a variety of therapeutic approaches. What is extremely effective for one client may not work well for another. With a strong foundation in cognitive behavioural, solution-focused, and person-centered therapies Kim will support you in achieving your goals.
